Attorney, Rainey & Rainey Attorneys At Law PLLC
A Central Texas native who came back to elder law
Addison was born and raised in Central Texas. She obtained a law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston and began working for Texas families as a law student at the Randall O. Sorrels Legal Clinic in Houston, Texas.
She then worked in a variety of practice areas, including family law, criminal law, real estate transactions, Municipal Utility Districts, and homeowner associations. She later aligned her vision with her passion and joined Rainey & Rainey, providing elder law counsel. That range shows up in her files: a guardianship is part probate procedure, part family dispute and part real estate problem, and she has practiced on all three sides of it.
Addison is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, a certified mediator, and is certified by the State Bar of Texas to serve as an attorney ad litem in guardianship cases. The ad litem appointment is the court's own safeguard — the lawyer whose only client is the person whose capacity is in question — and doing that work is part of why she is careful about when a family should file and when it should not.
She is a graduate of Texas A&M University and proudly served as the President of the Aggie Law Students Association during law school. In her spare time, Addison enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and rescue dogs.
Addison practices from the firm's Waco office at 3809 W. Waco Drive. To arrange a consultation, call (254) 457-5083 or send us a message.
